Glamping Tents

Two hours from Kathmandu. One unforgettable night under the stars.

Riverside glamping in Sukute.

You don't need to fly anywhere to wake up to the sound of rushing water, share a bonfire with your closest people, and feel like the weekend actually counted. Our tents sit a few steps from the Sunkoshi — close enough to hear the current, comfortable enough to sleep well.

The Concept

Built for the trip you actually want.

Most "camping trips" near Kathmandu turn into a logistical mess — finding a spot, hauling gear, hoping the weather cooperates. We've taken all of that off your plate. You show up. The tent is already pitched. The river is already running. Your group already has a plan, even if you didn't make one.

This isn't roughing it. It's the version of camping where the beds are real, the Wi-Fi works, and the volleyball game starts before you've even unpacked.

Pick Your Tent

Pick the tent that matches your trip.

We have two distinct setups, because a six-friend chaos weekend looks nothing like a couple's anniversary escape.

The Difference

What makes this different from a regular campsite.

Wake up to the Sunkoshi.

Your tent faces the river. First thing you see in the morning is water moving through the valley.

The whole resort is your playground.

Same access as everyone else: pool, beach volleyball, badminton, nature walks.

Bonfire nights that actually feel like something.

When the sun drops behind the hills, the fire goes up. Bring a guitar, request a song, or just watch the sparks.

Sukute Beach is right there.

A wide stretch of sand along the river — perfect for photos, hanging out, or walking off lunch.

Quick honesty note: The Sunkoshi is beautiful but the current is strong. Swimming in the river isn't safe — that's what the pool is for. The beach is for everything else.

The Practical Stuff

We'd rather tell you upfront than have you find out at check-in.

Bathrooms

Shared — 4 common toilets for tent guests. Clean, well-maintained, but shared. Need private en-suite? Our cottages or villas fit better.

Beds

Real beds inside every tent. No floor-sleeping unless you want to.

Connectivity

Common Wi-Fi, strong mobile network, power backup for grid blinks.

Check-in / Check-out

2:00 PM in. 12:00 noon out.

Pets

Not allowed at this property.

Best Time to Visit

When to come. When to wait.

Glamping is best when the weather plays along. The dry months — autumn through spring — are peak Sukute. Clear skies, comfortable nights, the river at its most photogenic.

Monsoon season is our quiet period. The tents are an outdoor experience, and rain changes the whole vibe — we'd rather you book a stay you'll actually love.

If you're planning for a holiday weekend or popular travel window, book early. Only 4 tent units total. They go fast.

Who This Is For

Why groups from Kathmandu keep coming back.

No flight, no long drive, no complicated itinerary. Roughly 2 hours from the city — close enough for a Friday-night arrival, far enough that it actually feels like you went somewhere.

  • Friend groups who want a shared experience without a shared budget crisis.
  • Students looking for a weekend away that's social and affordable.
  • Adventure travelers who want the river, the trails, and the bonfire — but also a real bed.
  • Young travelers from Kathmandu who need a reset that doesn't require taking time off work.
